Default 97 Z almost had a huge makeover....

Sometimes its a good thing we all take our cars apart in the winter....Lucky for me I take mine away for the winter to work on it. It would have had a permanent face lift this morning at 12:45am had it been in my garage.

Woke up to the city police pounding my door down, they ask "is garage #11 yours" I immediately freak out forgetting my car isnt in there because this has been a fear since day one. Look outside and my garage door is completely smashed inward. Someone backed into it, at a pretty good amount of speed too. Ruined my extra set of wheels, killed my bicycle, and we cant tell if anything else was damaged.

Luckily for me to, a buddy from up north, left here sunday afternoon and his car wasnt in there anymore either. (would have then given an ls1 a makeover)

this is what normally sits in there, Im so glad she is in a million peices elsewhere currently.

I'll snap some pics now that its light out and post them up after work. Its not pretty and would have definitely torn up the whole front end of the car.

Gotta stay. That's one good looking Camaro. I love white cars, and the black trim sets it off perfectly.

Im still trying to figure out how someone hit a huge object this hard when backing or pulling out, there isnt that much room to gain speed between parking spots and the garages....but here is some of the damages. hope its fixed when i get home tonight cuz now my fear is someone is going to try to get it open and steal my stuff

pulled all the retaining bolts/studs out of the wall and all.

and the dead bike, its bent up and the door popped the tire, two of the rims look ok, the other two i cant get to yet, but they look bent

Thanks for the props on the car....it currently sits like this (well its missing alot more paint right now) luckily it wasnt in my garage during show season or id be one angry girl.

I still dont know how they did it either unless they were trying, because they didnt hit any cars nor the edges of the garage, square on the door. Im just glad your car or my car wasnt in there mike.
