well i had the motor built on the cheap i had been saving to do a nice build with a stronger cam and stroker kit but the motor blowed before i had all the cash. the engine builder was an old friend of my father he gave me the cam it was new and left by some guy who never come back the give a deposit on an engine and he ported and polished the heads, i like to think he kew what he was doing he`s bulit engines for 20+ years before he retired. the last engine he built put a 89 street camaro into low 10`s and my engine has been in for 7 years and 60,000 plus miles. and yes i need a stall probley a 2200-2500 to make it move out faster.

That's hardly better than stock. For your combo you will likely benefit most from at LEAST a 3200 converter.

everyone is going to tell you the same thing, without the specs on your heads and cam, there isn't much we can tell you

Depending on the size of cam, and any other supporting mods that is hard to say. But I would hope for your sake that you would make 350+. Big cam and good port job, you should reach your goal.
