Default Some fun at the track today on the juice!!

Went to the track today, tried out the 100 shot , it ran right about where i wanted it, but MPH'erd better then espected, it pulled like a **** in 4th., the 1st. run i let off before the 1000ft. & clicked off a 12.94, still stayed conservative through the shifts on the second pass, i'm sure there was a 12.4 in it & 113+ MPH, either way, i'm VERY happy, now its time for the cc503, 1.6 RRs & a 125 shot I smell 11s.

60ft. 1.989
330ft. 5.417
1/8 8.247
1/8 MPH 86.69
1/4 12.51
1/4 MPH 112.87

NX Big shot, the 300 shot noids, of coarse i'll NEVER go there , i was shocked it ran through at that MPH with these 25.8" DRs & 4.11s, the tach showed 58-5900 or there abouts, it had the front end up high in 4th., enough to throw the steering off, but it was a blast, i shifted at 5800, left @ 1500 & eased into it, i could see a bunch of looks from the grand stands on the re-turn road , my **** looks STOCK in appearance, right down too the salad shooters, thats the only way too fly

Nice kit. I'm going to spray sometime soon as well. Going to go with the Nitrous Outlets Wet Plate Kit. Gonna either do a 75 or 100 shot. That should put me right at 500 to the wheels.

Start off with a 100 shot, 75 is alittle weak, you'll be spraying 150 before you know it. I'm going to a 125 & calling it quits at that, just because of my gearing & high miles, i'm sure i can get a 12.2 @ 115-116 with a 125 hit on a perfect run without the cam, thats ****** haulin IMO for a fully dressed Bolt-on car, i'm still debated on the cam install, i might just do the 1.6 rockers & springs/pushrods, the car is working very well as is, hate to start tearing deep into it & have **** go wrong

Nice MPH, you should be very close to 11's with those jets. The 125hp shot should put you there for sure.

How are you activating the nitrous....(microswitch, windowswitch, push button)?

Yeah I'm leaning more towards the 100 jet. Being I'm full bolt on with heads and cam I didn't want to push my cars limits. A 100 should be fine. Hell I could prob do a 150 if I really wanted too

just wanted to add my rule of thumb....... always run at least 100 octane when more than 100 shot, and pull about 6 degrees out for 150 shot and you be fine.

Nitrous Outlet Window switch, i set it for 3000 in/5600 out, yeah the MPH is VG, i was very happy with it, if you look, i picked up over 26 MPH from the 1/8 too 1/4, that i'm sure is do to having a stick car, i shifted twice before the 1/8, & once after that, the 60ft. could be much better also, but this clutch is fairly fresh, right now the N2o is a new toy, so as my launches get better along with the shifts, i'm sure it'll drop another .2-.3 off the clock.

Its tuned by Ion @ Madtuner for a 100 shot, its on the stock timing with 2* coming out @ WOT, with the 125 shot, i'll add some 105 octane.

Yeah, but what was your 60ft. on that 12.2 run, i'll bet it wasn't a 1.98 , also, are you running on stock rockers/cam/heads/jack/spare & the whole nine yards? 12.2s is kickin it, i'm sure i'll get there with seat time & what i've got. Man i LOVE my LT1, don't you guys

nice times wish i saw thos et results i went 13.2 @112mph on a 100 shot. you should have 11s with the 125 shot and you drive it a bit harder. my car also pulled real hard in 4th on the squeeze. my first pass i spun bad in 4th (street tires) probably y i went 13.2 at 112 lol
