Default Who has the highest miles on their LT1s w/o a rebuild?

Just curious to see what to expect out of mine. I have 132,000 on mine and believe the bottom end hasnt been touched. Although I think the previous owner put a mild cam in it.

Just trying to decide how long its going to last on a 150 shot

So whats your guys odometers reading?

Mines @ 5600. Edit...a damn hard 5600..mostly on dyno or track. And 9 lbs of boost for last 6 years! These things are tough!

227k on my 95 Roadmaster wagon.

Before you dismiss a wagon as an easy life, tow packge has 2.93 gears and 28" tire, base curb weight is 4672lbs according to the owners manual, throw a driver and passenger in it and you go over 5000lbs fast.

At 180K that car ran 15.5 at 88mph bone stock, enough to beat the '04 Impala SS in the other lane with the blower 3.8L.

That wagon is awaiting dimanteling due to a deer hit but I recently weighed it's replacement a 94 Caprice wagon, lot less options on this one, with me it was 4920lbs. I go a little over 200lbs. and the sick thing is this car does NOT have the tow package so it got 2.56 gears, if I take this one to the track I will finish the quater in second gear.

167,000..she didn't let go but after the engine tear down one of the bareings was worn down to the cam lobe so oil pressure would have been lost eventually. Glad i got her re-built before that happened. My dad has a LT1 Impala SS and it had over 300,000 before the motor let go...and it was the crank shaft.

190K, over 50 1/4 mile passes, full boltons. Trans is finally slipping a bit, so she has been relegated to basic transportation

My first LT1 car had 246,xxx when I bought her and 271,xxx when I sold it. Bought from the original owner and had never been rebuilt. Was running 9.1-9.3 in the 1/8.

Mine has 183000. I am in the process of a rebuild. It was still running strong; just want to go a little faster. Lol
