Default Coasting rpm problem

When I try to coast from say 2000rpms, the car will usually drop rpms to 1000-1100rpm and my mph will really start falling, it will also sometimes for example coasting from 2000, fall to 1500 and "float" above and under 1500. Is there anything I can do, I just did a complete brake job, including calipers hoping that would fix it, I already cleaned the idle air control valve so I know neither of them are it, anything else i can check? Any help would be appreciated.
