Default wtf pacesetter ory?

on the pacesetter ory where the y-pipe meets the cat back; is that slip fit? weld? or what because mine will not slip on, theirs no cuts like a slip fit would have. but when i put it on the headers and put it up to the cat back it goes past the end of the catback. how does this attach?

its a slip fit. the catback should slip over the y-pipe. what type of catback do you have?

pacesetter ory should be 3", if you catback is the same dia. you will need to get it flared, any muffler shop should be able to do it

I had to trim my y pipe, it was too long to go into the catback. Mine is a Pacesetter y with a Magnaflow cat back.

Is it possible that the flowmaster I-pipe was crushed too much on the previous exhaust pipe making it smaller then the new ORY? what was the flowmaster attatched to previously?

the ORY should be 3inch outer diameter and the flowmaster should be 3inch Inner diameter for it to slip on correctly

just cut it so its meets up with ur catback, so the y pipe end and start of the cat back is face to face if that makes sense then use a 3inch band clamp for easyseal.
