Default My New Pit Crew

If you have been following my "Stock Internals" thread you should recognize these guys! In preparation for the debute of their project they are acting as pit crew for the first couple of IHRA Division 9 races. These photos are from Farmington.

Caleb in the staging lanes.

Steven and Jason checking tire pressure.

Don't tell me that drag racing isn't hard work!

Burnout.

First round (We lost by .017 MOV!!).

Nice clean launch

These are the HS kids or something? I can't quite remember :\

Nice clean launch Those actual sponsors, or just the obligatory "The stickers came in the box" sponsors?

And while what you lost by is important, WHAT'D YOU RUN is what we want to know!!

Thanks. The sixty foot times are off. I broke my best converter last year and the spare is too loose. I have a new one coming. My best sixty foot time all weekend was only a 1.39.

They are all High School kids that go to my Church. We don't have kids, so we decided to borrow other peoples!

At sanctioned events they all pay if you win or runner-up.

On that run both of us had .015 reaction times. We were dead even and on the brakes at the finish line. I ran a 6.64 on a 6.62 dial (100 mph). I qualified with a 6.61 @ 103 mph.

Winner $100.00, runner-up $50.00 per decal at a Pro-Am! They are pretty cool to have when the checks start coming in.

lol Years ago when me and my friend were putting a 350 in a Mudstain, I was working at the parts store still, so I went through all the boxes I could and got the stickers out of them and then put them on the car LOL No where near the amount that Giz has though That was the first batch as I had 90% of the fender covered when I was done

Thanks!

We will be at Mooresville if it doesn't rain out. We had hoped to have the kids car finished by now, but all the rain has pushed us back a few weeks. I do think that having them work on my car has helped them some. They should be much better prepared when we start running their car.
