You'll need a new shifter, cross-member, new torque converter, a custom-length driveshaft, TV cable, and a torque arm that doesn't attach to the transmission. You will also lose overdrive - hope it isn't your daily driver if you value fuel mileage/cost.

TH350s do provide advantages over the 4L60Es at the dragstrip, mostly being durability.

supposedly my trans was already rebuilt, and all kinds off beefed up, so im told from the guy i bought it from, so im not worried about strength on the trans, i dont guess i would shave some time with it?????

Prolly not if you just got a new converter for yours since a th350 would require a converter anyways

If your TH350 has a 9in tailshaft your driveshaft will fit.

You can actually modify your stock shifter to work with the TH350

ive only done 1/8 mile so far and only run it a couple times, but i ran a 9.187 at 78 mph with a 2.148 with my setup, but i think i can do a lil better, open the cutout and loose the filter maybe, with a 3200 stall i should shave more time, which i need to get anyway

any future plans with the car? if i were you id stick with the 4l60e but get the th350. your not really runnin th350 times right now and im sure you drive this car. if its as good of a deal as you say then itll be worth it even if you have to just sell the th350 instead of use it

yeah thats true also, i could get it and sell it. my plans as of now is a cam only setup, roller rockers, and some spray. i want to get into the 11's in the 1/4. i did see that the loyd elliot le2-cam package isnt to pricy, but a good bit of power. so that may happen but for now just cam and spray.

like previously mentioned depending on the length of the tailshaft (long or short) will determine whether or not you can reuse the driveshaft
