The lt1 exhaust ports are D shaped, so to ensure proper sealing your 350 headers would need to be the same. HTH

You'll have plenty of clearance issues to deal with, including the kmember, frame, sensors, etc. Of course, this is assuming said LT1 engine is going into an f-body.

People have used the older non D port headers on LT1's as long as it fits over the D port, but as stated above clearance is normally the main problem.

I have a feeling he's asking in reference to putting an LT1 in an older car. If that's the case, you'll be fine with the GEN I headers on the GEN II D Port.

As said the LT1 exhaust port is d-shaped but you should be able to get a round port to seal too it.

Also as said chassis clearance is the big issue so buy smallblock headers that fit your chassis and you should be good.

People sometimes get lucky with creativity, a lot of guys with 94-6 Caprice/Impalas out there sporting second gen f-body headers.
