Default Dtc-66

anyone had this code before. it says A/C pressure transducer open/short.

would that be my high pressure switch? what the hell are they talking about. just thought if i would see if anyone had that before and whats some common issues with the a/c on the early lt1's. thanks for any help

DTC 66 is set when the AC pressure drops below 8psi (.12v signal, red/black wire) or exceeds 448psi (4.86v). There is a 5v reference voltage wire (gray).

Also check to make sure the plug isn't busted or has broken wires. It's located on the A/C line near the passenger side shock tower.

the plug seems to be fine. i hooked a jumper and on one it idles up and the other the fan comes on. i wonder if that sensor just went bad.

i jumped the relay and the compressor kicked on. i'll go to work tomarrow and get my test light and ohm meter and figure it out. supposed to hit 80 tomarrow here so kit would be nice to get it working. i'll post up what i find.
