Default using a jimmy torque converter in a 1995 camaro

can i use a torque converter from a jimmy since it was a 700r4? im using a 700r4 tranny with my 1995 lt1 upgrade???

From what ive heard, yes. Some people have put them in for the fact that its a smaller converter and will increase stall size over a stock lt1 converter.

Ya, and the first time you go to the track and launch it good you will flatin all the fins in the converter..

I would not use a s-10 converter...

its not a s10 converter if its a gmc jimmy from the 90's

i have used s10 converters in the past with good results it only stalled at 2600 sometimes 2800...

a fullsize jimmy converter will not help you at all!

When it comes to powertrain, I am pretty sure Jimmy = Blazer = S10 = Sonoma. As long as you are talking about 92+ Jimmys.

Are you are talking about the GM 24202310 DBLF converter? It's the 95+ L35 s10 converter. I used one for a couple years with great results, with many 1.87 60' launches. Mine stalled about 2500 rpm and was a nice upgrade from stock.
