heated o2's?
I have a 1993 trans am that was tuned ofr bolt on's. All i have is lt's cai, and biger injectors. The car came with 22# injectors and i went with a 24# svo injector. The car wasnt running right so i had a very good local speed shop diagnose it. Turns out its running lean off the charts. I tallked to my tuner and he said that he doubts it is actually running that lean. He suggested heated o2's because of the lt's. Do any of you guy have to run heated o2's? I have the single wire sensor, where would i buy them?

All 93 guys run heated O2's, if you run LT's it moves the sensor too far back from the motor and it doesn't get hot enough so it jumps in and out of open and closed loop. I have three wire O2's out of a 94 S-10 and I made extensions and wired them in myself. I know there is a member on here that sells a kit. I know Firebird is in his name. I dunno. I'm sure you'll hear from someone who knows. It may be easier to turn something up on speeddensity.org in their search. Good luck.

It keeps the car from going into closed loop, and makes the readings more accurate when it finally does. The Thunder Racing heated o2 conversion helped my idle and drivability a ton, plus the car gets into closed loop much quicker.

Ok so my next question is do you have to run a fuse in the harness and run the wires all the way up to the fuse box? Can i just run the power to a ingnition hot wire and screw the ground to something close to the sensor?

I feel bad for your rear end
I wired mine into the wiring from my removed AIR pump. Inside the car would have been cleaner now that I think about it
