Default 95lt1 in a 97ws6

i found an electrical fire 95lt1 possibly with 6spd out of a z28, i have a 97ws6 with 180,000 miles and the fire motor is rebuilt with a new crank. I'm thinking the heads should be ok. The intake along with everything that is connected to it is pretty much scortched. I think i should be able to just take my motor out and just bolt the intake back on the other. Can i just get new timing chain then swap the cover from the 97 to the 95 and it'll work? Basically needing to know what all would need to be done. I know the 95 is obd1 and my 97 is obd2. I know lt1's have different timing covers and components for different years. Just needing to know what will need to be done to decide if it's worth buying. I know if i get the 6spd, they have the pedals and console, but what all would it take to swap the A4 for the 6spd if i can get it too?

All you have to do is swap covers and swap the reluctor wheel behind the cover onto the '95 engine. You might also want to replace gaskets and seals. Don't know if they are fire damage proof, lol.
