Default Engine Question

Hello everybody I have a question... I have a 97 Camaro Z28 M6 and I blew the motor. I'm about to put an LT1 out of a 96 Z28 Automatic car, my question is, is there anything i'm gonna need 2 do before putting it in?

Nope, it's a direct swap.

No, nothing will change. You will be replacing your engine with one identical to it. As long as you are going to use the same wire harness and computer as before, nothing at all has changed.

Any codes being thrown? New plugs and wires? Test your fuel pressure. You could also perform a compression and leak down test.

Find the cause of that and you should find your power.

Did you put a pilot bushing in the automatic car engine before bolting the T56 too it??

I helped a guy repair a T56 car once and part of the repair was a crank swap and we almost forgot that detail, that is why I asked.
