Default Water Pump

Hello, just a quick question? I just put a new waterpump in my car today. 95 firebird lt1. I didnt pull anything out but the air intake. Are you supposed to take out the radiator? it was a tight squeeze getting it all in. I was pretty happy job took me about an hour and a half.

No reason to take the radiator out. It does make it much easier to take the fan shroud off though. Far more room. Fan shroud and radiator separate and the shroud is extremely easy to take off and put back on.

I did mine the same way, years ago (first maintenance I had to do on the car). Seemed like there was enough room. No sense in removing anything you don't have to.
