Default torque arm removal

Hey guys I was trying to get my torque arm out today. I have the 2 bolts that attach it to the rear end. I was trying to pull it out of the mount but could not get it to come out. Is there some bolts on the transmission that have to come out or should is just come out?

there is a small bolt right on top of where the bushing is.loosen it up a bit and it will come right off.or you can just pull on the torque arm really hard.

I've removed my motor and trans multiple times, I only removed the arm to the tranny bolt and push the arm out of the way, done this with both a 4L60E and a t56

you can also just unbolt the tailshaft from the trans and remove the torque arm and tailshaft as one piece and not have to worry about that PITA mount. its only 4 bolts and it will save you some aggravation

or you can try spraying some wd-40 in the rubber mount to get it to slide out easier
