Default freee mods?

What do guys mean when they say "free mods"? Is it just portmatching, tb bypass, and such? If anyone says descreening the maf im sending a hit lol.

All of these aren't free, but they are little things that add up...
TB bypass is one. Some say de-screening the MAF helps, mine is still screened because I have the SS intake and I need it to flatten out the incoming air so that the MAF reads correctly. 160* thermostat helps a little, esp when you reprogram your fans. LS1 drive shaft frees up some rotational mass, not to mention it gets rid of the vibe. I heard that making sure the spark plug arc arm or whatever you call it is not pointed towards the intake valve is worth 1 avg hp, lol. Not sure what else.

descreen MAF
intake elbow/boot

Default Tuning

Tuning, its definetly not free, but for not having to tear into the motor you will see some impressive gains from a competent tuner, My customers average 3/10th's and a couple of MPH on stock motors...
