Default SLP Cold Air Kit thoughts?

i was looking to pick up one of these...what are your guys thoughts on it? any expierience with it?

It's nothing fancy. Either that one or the K&N will do you fine. You might want to look int the "Parts Classified" section for a used one. I know one of the guys in here just switched over to the lid conversion and is selling this same one.

X2 on the buyin it used, they and other versions are always being sold on Ebay etc for around $100

Got mine used for $60, all it needed was a re-oil and cleaning off.

LPE is my fav, cheapest of them new (unless you make your own) and fits really nicely / not too hard to install. You can get it at Lingenfelter's site, 150 shipped I believe.

If you like to fab stuff up, you can go to the hardware store and buy some tubing of the right diameter, get some hose clamps and just buy one of the reusable cone filters for like 40 bucks and voila, 50 dollar cold air intake!

I just got a ram air hood and did the lid conversion so i have a slp cold air intake that i dont need anymore. Im looking to get $150 out of it plus shipping let me know if your interested and ill send you some pics

i got ripped i paid $220.00 for mine but i love it works great cleaning the filters is a little trouble thought.

If you have a trickflow elbow you will have to cut like 1.5" off to get it to fit properly.

Looks the best off all the intakes, the filters are a real pain in the *** to get on and off.
