What shop is recommended for LT4 engines around Houston,TX?
I am looking for a shop that supports LT4 engines. I am wanting to do a solid roller conversion on my corvette along with changing the NOS setup to direct port. Can anyone recommend a good place to take it to?

its crazy how all the shops that used to work on lt1's no longer want to work on them...hpe used to, g force used to, i dunno if mti ever did. everyone gave up on us. i wonder when ard stopped working on lt1's. i think they got tired of my car, lol its a pain in the ***!!! all the mods in my sig were done by ard.

I'm not 100% sure, but if they're doing just the block/heads work, isn't there no real difference between the GEN I and GEN II? As far as work goes I mean... Boring, honing, deck work, head work, bearings... Seems like it'd be the same. Now BUILDING it is slightly different, but if the OP planning to assemble the long block himself, say if the shop did the short block, don't see why a shop wouldn't do the short block work :\
