Default Superdamper necessary for brand new LT1?

I don't even know if it will work, but is an ATI harmonic balancer helpful for a brand new LT1? a shop told me it would help since i rev up the motor all the time.

This is the one:

or would a stock balancer work just fine?

IIRC the corvette balancers are different, but I don't know for sure. I'm spinning my motor to 7k rpms on a stock balancer, but I have thought about getting a fluid dampaner but really can't spend that much money on something like that right now.

Just stick with the stock balancer until you go with a really wicked set up.
