Default Fel-Pro 1406 Header Gaskets

Are these any good? I'm going to be installing my headers soon and this is what came with them.

I used 1406 on my car with Pacesetter LTs. Still holding up OK.

My vote is for the Mr. Gasket copper gaskets. I've been using them for maybe 3 years or so and they seal very well.

Another vote for the 1406s. 10 years going strong.

Add another vote here. They worked very well for me and lined up to my headers perfectly. I think that the 1470's are for stock manifolds as the port dimensions are smaller than the 1406's.

Another vote for the FEL-1406.

Been using them for at least 13 years. Never had an issue with them. The trick is to tighten them very tight, then after a couple of heat cycles re-tighten them again. After that you are golden for a very long time.

I'd personally go with the Percy's (aluminum) gaskets as they are much less likely to blow out and are higher quality. Little pricey, but they solved my leaks and I have used them all Felpro, Copper, etc...
