mcleod twin disk. it'll take the abuse you throw at it and drive well. not sure where the best place to get it is you could try speed inc.

the spec 5 is gonna wear fast on the street and be noisy as hell you could go spec 3+

Last i talked to him he liked it real well, it was pretty much dialed in for the track. the only major down side is you have to rebuild it after so many passes, not real practical for a street car, but great for drag racing from what i hear.

joe's ls1 NA camaro that went 8.9X had a slipper clutch in it

another vote for the street twin, it drives almost like a stocker and can take all the abuse you want to throw at it

Street Twin here.

Is an Aluminum flywheel strong enough for drag racing? Or is that just something for an Auto-X car?

Absolutely. It's not like the entire flywheel is made out of aluminum...

Whats the difference between the streen twin and the twin-disc RST and RXT? I know the RST is rated to 800hp and the RSX is rated to 1000. What is the Street Twin rated to and which one is the best for a high power daily driver? They have way to many clutches to choose from.

I need something that can hold 850rwtq and drive well in rush hour traffic. Does something like that even exist? lol.

David, definitely go with the street twin. Don't trust anything else in your combo or you'll be doing it twice

Street twin. Feels like a stock clutch and will break your tranny before it slips. When I was a 6 speed that was the clutch I had. I would go with a steel flywheel with a heavy car.

The only diffenece in the clutches is the material in the discs (from what I was told). The RSX is just a little more harsh than the RST, but reports claim the RST drives easier than stock. If I were you I'd try the RSX...
