/\ honestly it all depends on how big you are building this motor. mine was just a 383 with a LT4 cam stock LT1 Heads and Intake. so it really wasnt "built" just had a few extra cubes. if thats similar to what your doing then you can use stock injectors. can we get a lil more info on your build and how radical you wanna go!!

lt4 hotcam is useless in a 383 would be like making a 305 cam work in a 350. up your injectors to 32 or so lbs and get the 503 cam and thatll be a nice street motor with good power.

building a 383
Sorry guys just got off work I am looking for a way to get about 400-500 RWHP. not spending a whole lot. I have the K&N cold air and I am getting the 58mm TB Long tube headers so i need to know what to do to the engine to push it to 400-500 RWHP

Step up the cam now, while you have easy access to it, then later when you have the money pull the heads and send them to LE or AI. Still wouldn't go too aggressive on the cam with stock heads b/c it will be a waste and you might need bigger fuel injectors which means more $$$, but you might be able to get by if you up the fuel pressure at the rails.

I would say have something custom ground, its only $40 more than an off the shelf cam from Comp and they'll get you exactly what you want. The only problem is you'll have to spend more money on some better springs (assuming you're running LT4's now), but you'd have to do that on any more aggressive cam.

no right now im stock top end. well minus the cam. thats why im kinda hesitant to throw anything crazy in cause im trying to not have to do a valve job. my main concern is getting the car back on the road right now and not have to worryabout anyhing breaking to bad. but trying to get a few things straight while the motor is out.
