Default Anyway to make sure Im getting forged pstons?

Im picking up my 355 tomorrow and want to know if there is anyway to make sure Im getting the forged pistons, and ARP hardware thats supossed to be in it??????

Take it apart and see if you see ARP hardware or any serial numbers on the pistons would be the for sure way. Did you mean without pulling it apart?

its a short block no heads or pan will be on it

Oh, that makes it a lot easier for you then. The bottom of the pistons might have a # on them that you should be able to look up and see, depends on brand though.

If you have that big of a trust issue with whomever you are buying it from, maybe you should have went somewhere else... .?

TRW but Ive read its tricky with some of those? Will the hardware say ARP? Do they look any different than stock?

No trust issue, Ive only heard good things and all his feed back is 100% possitive! I dont know him pesonally though and would rather be safe than sorry. Info is good to know anyways

Most likely the hardware will be visually different with a multi point head on it, so you should be able to tell there.

Ok I found out the piston Part# should have a L in it for forged

I think they should say ARP on the head of the bolt...
