Question Doing a heated O2 conversion and incorporate a wide band in??

Has anyone done this with there 93? I am currently doing the conversion now and would also like to have a wide band as well. Is there a way to do this?

You would drill a seperate hole, and install a seperate bung for the wide band sensor.

It's a completely different sensor that the narrowband the onboard pcm uses to make its calculations.

If you buy say an AEM wideband gauge, or a fancier handheld datalogging unit such as is available from innovate motorsports, it will come with a seperate, wide band, sensor.
So how does it connect to my ECM for its readings?

I'm not really sure what you're trying to accomplish, but see my post in the other thread.

It doesn't connect to your ECM its self contained. Check out the AEM Eugo.

A wideband doesn't connect to your ECM for any readings.

A wideband is a device that measures Air/Fuel Ratio via a "wideband" sensor installed in your exhaust.

Anywhere in that general area would be fine. Before the mufflers is optimum so cold air being sucked back in due to the pulses in the exhaust dont convolute the 02 readings.

okay good. Then i can get my tune now and have my heated O2 conversion done then go back and install my wideband at a later date. I know not ideal but funds are starting to run low and i need to get my car back on the road. it has been down now for a year and a half and i will be moving to Colorado soon.
