Default Shifter gasket?????

Replaceing the clutch in my cat and I ripped the shifter gasket. Do you need a gasket or does RTV work well? None of the local parts stores have crap for the gasket and most can't look them up. Is this a dealer part. Thans for any help.

That's whats I used on my pro 5.0 for about a year and a half now. Works great.

It works so good I haven't been able to separate my shifter from the trans, I've been having to fight with the shifter clearing the car when removing and installing the trans.

That's my fault, if I left the stick and the thandle on I could probably get them separated, but I seem to always forget that step.

I just used the black Permatex silicone I think?
