Default Coolant question... Easy question for someone.

I am installing a temp sensor and the instructions say to install it in the radiator hose that the water exits the motor through. Is it the hose that hooks to the water neck or the other one. Thanks for the help.

there shouldn't be any type of sensor in any of the hoses. the coolant temperature sensor is on the front of the water pump. is it an oem type fitting that is threaded?

It's a 230 degree sensor for a warning light to put in the car. Shbox, where would you put it if you wanted to get an acurate measure of block fluid temp before it gets cooled down by the radiator. Also, are the head lines the only way fluid gets into the water passages in the block? Thanks again.

Temp sending unit goes in the driver side head... in a angle above the #1 plug... and the fans temp sending unit goes in the front of the water pump......

The water pump pumps into the front of the block and the upper passages go directly to the heads. You could tee off the water pump or head sensor locations. Even putting it in an exit hose would probably be ok.
