Default Over heat light

I have a 95 z28 the over heating light on my dash wont go off. My mtotr isnt over heating. I install a new CTS.
Were is the water leveling sensor. What does it do and how does it work.
I was told this is why tthe light is going off is because this sensor is broke. Would this be true?

It's not an "over heat" light (that'd be your temp gauge). That's the low coolant sensor. You can either have it replaced or just unplug the sensor and the light will go away.

i dont think hes talking about the temp guage i think he is referring to the light that comes on when the coolant is low.

Yup it will turn the light off. Just keep an eye on your coolant level, visually, and you will be fine.

i Might try pulling my sensor out to clean it, my light likes to come on randomly. So if cleaning it doesnt do it, ill unplug the damn thing
