Default Who sells LT1 ECMs?

My engine control module (ECM) has tested bad, no continuity on the distributor reference (pink) wire. So I'm wondering who sells them? I can't find anything when I do a search. Anyone know? Or is this where I scrap the car because nobody makes one anymore? Need help.

Auto Zone sells them with a warranty for like $120. You can usually find a used one on here for around $50

Wow, that's cheap. Are you sure it's the ECM and not the ICM? Gonna check that out.

When I needed one for my 93, which is the hardest ecm to find, my local junkyards couldnt find one. Called my local parts supplier, and they found 1(one) in the country, and It was about $300 with a core charge.

I bought my 93 ECM from O'rielly for $200. That was with the core charge. I think i got back $50 when i brought the core in. This also came with a warranty.

Well mine is a ECM. I have a 93. Mine only controls the engine. My tranny (4L60) is non electronic. That is why mine is a ECM (engine control module) and not a PCM (powertrain control module).

Ya sorry about that i went back and read what you were talking about. The price that i had stated was about 2 years ago. I guess they went down on
their price.

OP just make sure you get the right computer. The computers were different according to the year. As you know the difference between the ECM and The PCM. Plus there were other little changes by the year. OBDI and OBDII just make sure you find the right one before you buy one.

You could also always try and see if you could get yours repaired by a tune shop. they do do repairs.
