what do you mean what size? It is an LS6 intake. There is only one size....but still will not work unless you have mad crazy skills to modify the hell out of it. But at that point it wont be a LS6 intake anymore.

unless you are making 400rwhp from your heads and cam combo, which obviously you are not, stay away from doing anything to your intake. sounds like your mechanic friend is trying to mix the old school with the new school - I wouldn't ask him for anymore advice

Get your stock intake ported, that'll be more then enough for your 355.

Stock intake will flow more than enough air to support your cam only 355. Do not waste your money. Post up the part number on the cam you have.

LT4 heads and Intake arent really any better than the stock LT1 heads/intake. The LT4 stuff tends to have alittle more advantage when ported, however the cost to find a set, your better off just going with AFR, Trickflow, etc....

Just an FYI its a 230/236 duration cam @ .050" which is what everyone goes by in terms of specs. But I do feel you made a decent decision on the cam. Should work well with supporting mods, such as headers, exhaust, intake, 52mm tb, etc... What springs and rocker arms are you going to be running? As well as pushrods?

Great. Just make sure you do your research before you buy. Make sure you know what your getting. Also dont buy into the advertising that companies put out to sell their products. If your unsure of something post up and everyone on here will stear you in the right direction.
