few ?s need help.
hey guys been sittin thinkin an i have a few different ?s
1. what has to be done to get rid of all the emission pumps and all if i get the headers without emissions fittings. (motors out right now)
2. anyone know what happened to those ebay headers that creepingdeath got? the ones from pitstoptuning on ebay?
3. when deleting the AC do i need a ac delete pulley? and if i relocated the altenator to where the ac was do i still need a pulley?
4. as far as a tune goes. when i get the car/motor together should i get like a pcmforless tune till i have the clutch broken in for a real dyno tune? build thread in sig. 385 220cc trickflow hefty HR cam etc.
i think thats all for now thanks for the help

Not if you relocate the alt, because thats where the AC delete pulley goes (i have a GM AC delete for sale has about 20 street miles and 6 or so passes) But now have the Speedinc ALt relo kit, and dont need it anymore.
As for the emissions crap just take it all of and block off the back of the intake then just have it tuned out.
Dont know about the headers

yea i ended up with a spec 3+. was scepticle about it but the guy from spec said if it fails lik in the stories and i send the disk in that they fix it if it was there fault. i wanted the twin but also want the car done and couldnt afford the twin. so ill start with the spec if it does good thats great if not next clutch ill switch to somethin better. theyre rated for 8xxft/lbs so it should hold whatever i make.

1. what has to be done to get rid of all the emission pumps and all if i get the headers without emissions fittings. (motors out right now)
Remove the EGR valve and EGR tube. You need to install block off plates on the rear of the intake manifold to cover the two holes. You can also remove the Air pump, air pump tubing & hoses, vacuum lines connected to the AIR and EGR systems.
2. anyone know what happened to those ebay headers that creepingdeath got? the ones from pitstoptuning on ebay?
I think there was some fitment issues, but I'd try to PM him.
3. when deleting the AC do i need a ac delete pulley? and if i relocated the altenator to where the ac was do i still need a pulley?
Yes, they are cheap and easy to install.
4. as far as a tune goes. when i get the car/motor together should i get like a pcmforless tune till i have the clutch broken in for a real dyno tune? build thread in sig. 385 220cc trickflow hefty HR cam etc.
I would get a tune from MadTuner or PCMforLess. That will be more than sufficient for however long it takes you to get a real dyno tune.
