Default LT1/4 ARP rod bolt TQ-ing & Piston Ring ?'s

I have the ARP LT1/4 rod bolts installed on my stock rods and they have been stretched, but what I am wondering is that they say that the final torque should be 50lbs... Does that sound right to anyone?

I've looked at their site and thats what they suggested.

When I re-installed the stock bolts to requirment, I ended up throwing rods cause of the nut striping/ backing off.

My other question is that since I installed new rings (STOCK) is there a seating period? Or can you just start it up and go?

Thanks

50 pounds sounds about right for the rod bolts, just use a couple sequences to get it there.

For the rings, if you're replacing the rings you really need to hone the cylinder bore so that the rings can properly break in. Then after you get it up and running follow the procedure for whatever rings you bought. Most moly rings like several WOT passes to fully seat the ring with compression breaking too.
