What do you guys think of the new setup?
So after finding a deal on here for a pretty nice 383 I decided to sell the LE2 kit and bottom end and pick up the new motor.
The motor is a Splayed 4 bolt main LT1 Block that has all the machine work done. Comes with a Callies Dragonslayer crank, Lunati Pro Mod Rods and I will need to switch the pistons out for a better "blower" piston.
Heads are going to be TFS heads that already have 2.08/1.60 valves and they are already drilled and tapped for a SBC Single plane. I plan on sending the heads to LE and have him look them over and install springs on them. He will also be designing a cam for me.
Then the intake is going to be a Victor E with a 860 Elbow and Monoblade.
The motor will be getting a F1A Procharger strapped to it with around 18-20PSI.
Car already has FULL BMR suspension, Tick Level 3 tranny, Dana 60 with 4.10's and 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8's headers.
Hoping to make close to 700 to the wheels.
I'm pretty excited.

LOL thanks man. My first F body was a 97 Formula that I just bought because of its potential. I don't think I would own another body style, just love the way they look. Especially a true WS6

Think a D1SC will be enough? Hell if it will be that will save me money!

Sounds like it should be healthy! Your goal should be no problem at all. My 355 f1a made 755/747 with ~17 psi. through a 6 speed and 9". I'm hoping for more, I got a bit more tuning to do with it. Good luck.

Sounds like a lot of guys on boost have some KILLER setups! the car looks sexy btw!
I am highly interested in finishing my T/A, but I am very goal oriented and am going to wait until after college to finish it. Whats the point of a 500+rwhp car in my driveway if I'm in classes in another city? (I'd never let my car sit outside on a college campus)
