I dont think is a spec per say....however I wouldnt have them too close. its more a common sense thing. I wraped my fuel lines in header wrap on the drivers side where the Y-Pipe gets close to them....

/\ +1. if you feel you are getting to close, just wrap them. Maybe make a shield for them.

I am going to wrap them like you guys said and try to make a shield. I guess its just the engineer in me that is looking for a target distance to play it safe.

1.40612" away from the fuel line is minimum. Ive read that somewhere. It also depends if the system has cats before getting close to the lines. If so 1.10612" is the minimum, if not. then the spec listed before will do fine.

You read that somewhere and remembered?

I wish I had that kind of memory.

Yeah, its great! lol, i did make those numbers up. I was only feeding his engineer mentality on the situation. But to the OP 1 to 1 1/2 seems safe.

Well the lines are still less than 3/4" away from a pipe. No good.

I am going to re-route them a bit to totally clear the pipe but I will need to get a bender from Home Depot.

I wish there were an easy way to shorten the lines some but because of that small flange that the plastic clip latches onto, I dont see how you can. I can shorten them some by pulling some of the lines toward the rear of the car thereby shortening them in the front.

I put reflective insulating tape on the lines, and header wrap on the y-pipe for my car. I only had 1/2" of clearance.
