Default CC502, stock LS1 rockers, and stock LS2 valve springs...

I have seen this question asked before and I did search for it but I got nothing. I also searched but found no definitive answer...

My buddy will be installing a CC502 cam (218/224 .495"/.503" 112) in his bolt-on '97 z28. He will be modifying stock LS1 rockers to fit 3/8" rocker arm studs. My question is will stock LS6 yellow valve springs be sufficient enough to hand this cam with the 1.7 rr's?
I calculate the new lift to be .561"/.570". I don't know if the LS1 rr's would be too heavy or not.
Also the installed height will be 1.75"-1.80", but I am not sure what he should use.
Also what retainers would be required?
