Exclamation need brake help on 95 TA

so ive noticed every once in awhile my tcs will automatically be turned off along with a light in the bottom left corner that says ABS INOP.... what does this mean? plus my driver side rear disc brake was REALLY hot, i could smell it driving and when i pulled over there was a slight amount of smoke coming from it... help?

It usauly comes on When you punch the gas.
TCS = Traction Control System
ABS inop means Abs not working.
If you do a search allot of this is covered.

Sounds like that rear caliper needs to be rebuilt and is causing your ABS and TCS to not work correctly.

I would agree, seems like the brake is sticking. I would also check on the E brake, I am not sure what year it changed from LT1 to LS1 style ebrakes.

I had the same issue on my 94 LT1, once I did the brake job on the car, basically taking the caliper off and putting it back together, the light went away. Something must have hung up to kick the sensor.

The light comes on when you are low on brake fluid I believe. Have you checked that...
