Default I need parts!!

Ok guys, i need a good place to find engine rebuild kits that has to do with the lt1, every website i go to like summit, jegs, yearone, etc says except lt1 next to all the engine parts, where do you guys find this stuff at???

First, please clarify what you mean by engine rebuild parts.
Second, I use Summit a lot, but I sometimes have to back into it. Searching by LT1 will give you virtually nothing. Sometimes they will have a part listed for a 96 but not a 97, although it is the same part. When they do have the part, it will be listed as fitting "Chevy small block Gen II (LT-based engines)". I usually seach as a Camaro, since the likelihood if it showing up is much higher than for a Firebird.

As for a rotating assembly, any 1 pc. rear main chevy crank will work as long as it's not an LS crank, rods and pistons are the same as the GEN I SBC.....When I'm looking I check RPMmachine.com, they have a pretty good selection last I checked
