noticed my idle issues were only occuring while in gear and that the voltimeter was dropping drastically when the idle bogged...took it to oreilly and had them diagnose...amps were dropping big time...so i replaced the altenator..and guess what...problem is still there..does anyone have any ideas? i drove it tonight and can see the lights dimming when it does it...something is pulling some juice and putting enough load on the altenator that i'm not getting enough spark...could the coil be the problem?

Wow, so it actually wasn't the regulator in the alternator? Where'd you get the alternator from O'Reilly's? Still have more of a problem when the A/c is on too?

Also did you pick up a 140 amp one?
