Yes there are quite a few differences. Get a 95 harness and pcm.

93's are speed density (No MAF) one is batch fire the other is sequential, one has an electronic transmission the other is not ect....

If all you wanted was a replacement motor, you could swap in the engine and use the existing wire harness and computer. The only thing that might be a hang up is that IIRC the '93 fuel rails connect on the passenger side, not the driver side like '94-'97. In that case you could either reroute your fuel lines or swap the '93 intake and fuel rail onto the '95 motor.

If you were trying to convert over to OBD2, then you can swap in the '95 engine, wire harness, and computer. You will have to do some rewiring. See the link below and look at the C100, C210, C220, & C230 tabs.

93 fuel lines connect on the driver's side but in a different location from the 94-97 models. The FPR is on the opposite side (pass. side) from the 94-97. Just use your intake, fuel components, and electrical components from the 93 and you should be ok. Although, I have a 93 and I would rather have the 94-97 intake and fuel rail assembly. It is designed a bit diff. (regulator after all injectors) rather than the 93 system.

Not really, the 93' intake manifold flows more because the fuel crossover is in the back instead of behind the TB. I would just switch the motor itself. Nothing wrong with SD and a non-electronic transmission.

If you didn't want to remove the 95 intake, I believe you could use the 93 fuel rail and line assembly on the 95 intake. You just wouldn't have the front crossover. I am not completely sure on this so you would have to compare and test fit. I definitely wouldn't convert to MAF, I would keep the speed density.

well i am planning on swapping over the motor and tranny out of my 95 into a 93 roller. im a little confused about the whole transmission thing in the 93, doesnt that come with the same 4l60e that the 95 does? and what exactly am i going to have to do to use the 95 tranny in the 93 if i go ahead and use the intake and stuff from the 93. To badd its not going to be just as simple as a quick swap over

Oh I see now. As for the transmissions, the 93 cars have a 700r4 basically or 4l60 to others...but whatever. From 94+ they changed to the 4l60E. The swap is quick and easy, if you want to use the 95 transmission, then you need to use the 95 harness.

oo ok i think im starting to catch on...so tell me if ive got this right. if i want to use the 4l60e from the 95 then i have to use the 95 harness which means i wont be needing to swap intakes and such and which also means rewiring the whole dang car basically? lol

Basically.
You can swap the whole engine, trans, wiring harness, and PCM. The only issue you will have is getting the engine wire harness to mess properly with the rest of the car. If you look at that link that I posted, there are some differences. If you have the complete '95 car, you could swap the entire harness (including chasis harness with fuse blocks and all) into the '93 roller.
