i have a 4k edge thats going to be installed with the tranny. I bought a b&m trans cooler last year that is good for a 38-4000 stall. Can i use the same one i dont know the BTU on it...ill go look for the part # later when i get home

Buy the biggest one you can get to fit. I went with a B&M Supercooler.

Also, where do you buy said transmission from? eBay?

I run 2 coolers in-line with the factory.

Yeah im extra cautious when it comes to the transmissions, and i can't afford a built one yet.

get a transmission temperature gauge and go from there. You'll probably need a fairly large external cooler, but no sense in BUYING a huge *** one if you don't need it.
