The block is the same but you will need to swap the timing cover, cam, and opti if you want to keep the 95+ vented setup.

You should need a 94-95 Harness for the trans, the 4L60 (not the "E") should not have any trans functions in the chippable PCM. I'd check with PCMforless but none the less the block to trans matting is fine, its all the same bolt pattern.

Yea your 95 Tranny will work with the Engine.. I don't think your question was understood in the right way. As long as you use your 1995 Wiring and PCM you will be fine.

All you will have to do is swap the Timing Cover and Opti setup to a 1995 setup like mentioned above.

You will notice the 1993 has a different intake.

Nope. I am actually doing the same thing but backwards - a 95 block into my 93. I swapped the timing cover to a 95 one that has the proper opti hole but no crank sensor, will be using a vented opti and opti harness, and a 95+ cam. Keeping the 93 computer and harness for now. Tranny is not an issue since the 93s is not computer controlled, so like mentioned as long as you use your 95 harness you will be fine.

you will need a 93 fuel rail or a custom 94-97 with a custom crossover if you wish to retain the 93 intake

93 intake has no provision for the front cross over featured on 94-97 cars, so make sure he includes it in the sale or find one

tell him you're building an E85 prototype system to retrofit on v8's and maybe you'll even get a government grant
