They have a fan switch for our cars that took me about 15 min to wire up and works GREAT!
I have a question for you though...do you want it to be hidden and discreet without having to modify your interior at all? Or are you just gonna drill a hole for the switch somewhere in your dash???
I know of a site thant makes REALLY nice switch plates for our cars that you can hide and you dont have to cut up your interior to use it...

Why not have the pcm reprogrammed to keep the car just over what the thermostat keeps the car at at cruise?
Manually keeping the fan on below that temp is pointless wear on the fans, the factory just had the temp come up WAY above that for emissions purposes but is not really necessary to pass an emissions test.
PCM reprogramming actually offers a power gain as well, and if you use a good tuner you should see economy gains even.

The reason for the fan switch is not to keep it lower it is to never let it even get that hot when idling in the track staging area...I hate killing and re-starting my car every 14 seconds when the line moves, so the manual fan switch lets me turn them on while I am idling and kick them off when I get on the track, but they will still retain normal operation if I have the switch off.
You can still do a PCM tune, but that will still be no good at the track IMHO.
This switch setup I am talking about puts it in the ashtray, but you dont have to drill. Remove the tray itself, and this switch bezel slides right in and sticks down. You can still close the ash tray lid, and it lights up so when you open the lid, you can see what is going on. It can have 2-4 switches, and if you ever decide to get rid of it, just remove it and stick the ash tray back in and POOF...noone ever knew you had em...

The tune would be nice but I think I'd perfer the switch. I'll do whatever as far as the switch goes. I've got another use for the ashtray so the swich will have to mount somewhere else.

they have a few other options than just the ashtray, but I will post the link so you can look it over when I get off work this evening. The tune is good as well to make the fans come on at 180 instead of 210, but the fan switch is good for at the track or stuck at stop lights lol.

I have one from a guy who I know that makes them and sells them on ebay, it's a pretty nice piece.

Just make your own. Not sure what the price is on the SLP switch anymore, but I know I had this done for about $10, I didn't do the LEDs though.

I have mine set up for my fans, and an auxilliary in case I actually add something later on...
I'll post pics when I get my car back today.
I like these guys because of all the options you get as far as what types of switches, labeling, colors of lighting, colors of LED's, etc...On top of that you can still close the ashtray cover and never tell they are there!

I also bought the SLP FanSwitch, very nice mod. You can certainly feel a throttle response difference if you allow the car to full heat up while driving and then let it cool and hammer it. I pulled out my cig lighter in front of the shifter, filled it in, and cut it out enough to mount the switch. Looks factory.

That panel looks amazing! I thought when you were telling me about it that it took up the top of the ashtray. Like the cover. I planed on mounting a special plate on top of the ash tray cover that tells hp rating of my car when finished. Thanks for the idea!

I bought a toggle switch for under $10 as stated above but I mounted mine next to the diagnostic port so it's hidden. Very easy to do, I wanna say I just followed the directions on shobox's site.
