Default All MSD wires put in except one!

Okay I've replaced all plugs and wires. I installed new MSD 8.5 msd wires. I cant get the #4 wire to connect (1 inch too short). Has anyone else had this issue with these wires being to short?
For temporary purposes can I install my stock wire for now? or can I buy somewhere one correct size MSD wire?

Sounds like you have the wires on the wrong plugs. You probably have some wires that were meant to be on the passenger side installed on the drivers side.

x2!

I had no issues with my wires being too short...look and see if there is a wire somewhere such as your #3 or #5 and see if there is a couple inches of slack in it...if there is maybe that is the one supposed to be on 4, and you can just switch em around and be good to go.

I have never seen a set of pre-made wires be too short personally...

oh, check and make sure you routed them correctly as well...maybe you got it hung up on something under that mess that you can't see and it is robbing you of an inch or two...if that is the case just re-route it and your good...

Okay one more question. How did you guys route your wires on the passenger side? The old wires had some kind of support plate that you could snap the wires into. With these new one they wont fit. So now Im trying to find the best way too route them and not get burned by the manifold.
Wish I had money for the OTVC mod....

I honestly couldn't tell you...I haven't ever done it with the stock manifolds...so I dont know how they run without hitting the manifolds. I use headers and have for quite a while. Zip ties can be your best friend though...

Something doesnt seem right! I have only 8 original plugs. But I have 10 MSD wires, which 2 are definately too short. One being about 10 inches and the other 8 inches. Those definately wont attach to any plug and opti.

Zip ties I do have and plenty of them. I had the drivers side looking really nice until one of my plugs on the passenger was too short. If worst comes to worst can I just put the original wire back in until I can get a new wire?

The 8" one could be the coil wire.
