Default Pilot bearing/bushing removal

I have a quick question. To remove a pilot bearing, do I need to remove the flywheel?

While you're there, if you are changing a clutch, might as well get the flywheel resurfaced.

I'd really like to, but I am extraordinarily broke at the moment. This is just something I had to do, as the pilot bearing had fallen apart, and the hub of the clutch had a bunch of good sized cracks in it. Luckily it has not damaged my input shaft so I may have dodged a bullet there. At any rate, it'll work much better than it did before, and it will last me until I get a better paying job and have the money to set up a good clutch in there. BTW, here's a picture of my disc. You can see on the hub near the friction material some little cracks. I don't suspect those are doing me much good.
