Mail order tune? I had mine reprogrammed ( 93 octane gas) and noticed a difference, better throttle response. Mostly good just to get rid of BS you dont want so you do not get SES light. Make sure you have them program your fans to turn on at a lower temp, this worked wonders for the car during summer time.

I havent dynoed mine but the gain was about even with what my shorty headers gave me. The best thing about a tune is that you can have your fans turn on sooner to keep your car alot cooler and you can change your shift points which is nice to have.
