Default single plane ?

hey guys first i cant find a super victor anywhere that will ship in time so if you have one or know a place let me know. my question is y is the ford tps needed when using an elbow?

is it going to be boosted?
i would not run an elbow with a super victor. the elbow is going to kill any gains the super vic might have added, IMO.

It really depends on the elbow - there are low clearance ones with tight radius low volume turns, and then full size gradual radius turn elbows that are a lot less restrictive. Then there are 860 plenum type "elbows" which are really boxes that sit on top of the carb mount allowing you to use either an LTX or LSX style TB depending on the model you get.

Get an elbow with a good smooth radius. Otherwise you are choking the engine you spent the good dollas on.


On the TPS, most elbows are designed to work with a round Ford style throttlebody. There is a way to convert the signal.
