What the hell does the quick disconnect on the T-56 trans go to?

Only the LS style T56's have a quick disconnect hydraulic line fitting.

well there is a black line on the right side that goes up and the clip bolts to the bellhousing. Is it just a vent?

lol reason I made to comment before is because right now my Tranny is sitting on a bench and I was scratching my head wondering the same damn thing. (I didn't remember disconnecting that line rofl)

Here is a pic of the LS Slave Cyl.. the brass piece with the red cover is the quick-disconnect, which would be partially sticking out of the Tranny on the driver's side when you look under the Car.

Right exactly what i was thinking. But i understand our cars do not have a quick dissconnect ( just that vent) , but the LSX do have a quick disconnect.

I just finished the install today and drove the car... Spec Stage 3, and spec steel fly wheel, newer trans, all new slave/master. Im loving this clutch. Car is running weird tho, has a miss or something. I need to mighty vac the hydraulics again, pedal is a little soft. But im happy with everything so far.

you dont mighty vac a Lt1 MC/ slave just pump the slave rod with the cap off the resivior untill it stops taking in fluid and bubbles stop
