Default AI 200cc Start Up/ABS INOP Light

The AI set up is complete. After the start up the "ABS INOP" light came on. Checked for codes, none..never once messed with the ABS during install, all fuses are in perfect shape. Any ideas??

BIG Thumbs up to Ron and Phil at AI This thing flat out MOVES! It has a partial tune as it sits right now. Awaiting the dyno tune still. Hope by next week or so. I also put in a Yank SS3600 stall...if you have a A4 get one! Enough said

Thanks to Cody at Rockin-C- Racing for the help with the build, Kevin at My Machine Head for coming through last minute on the bad *** Alternator Relocate bracket "Which looks sweet! Thanks to AI for the most beautiful heads and camshaft I've ever seen... And Dave at Yank Performance for the hook up!

P.S. Will post up pics of the build and dyno #'s here soon!

I'm glad you got the car running again. I can't wait to see what kind of numbers that car puts down. Give us a taste of the cam size man I'm interested. Good luck.

Congrats on the car, did you do long tubes at the same time? Go snoop around the bottom of the engine bay on the sides of the shock towers, very well may have melted a plug/harness to the wheel hubs. We had to some what move mine around when we did LTs.

Best of luck on your new heads/cam endeavor, friend!
Since there was a lot of traffic around your ABS block start looking at connectors and following wires to sensors.

Most common reason for the ABS light is burning/breaking or disconnecting the plug on the passenger shock tower down by the header primary. ABS cods show up in a different way and can only be read by a Tech 2 and the codes start with a C. If you have a 3 channel ABS setup (non traction control) you just have to check the plug in the rear end (make sure it's plugged in and you can pull the sensor and clean it). Then there are two wheel sensors one on each front wheel that have plugs that should be checked for clean connections).

Good luck with your ABS light, try pulling the wires up from the passenger shock tower and checking they aren't burned or knicked first. Glad to hear you're happy with the new setup.
