Default Header install help

I removed the DS manifold and now working on the PS. What did you guys do to get the first manifold bolt off with the alternator bracket in the way?

Also, does anyone know what the recommended gapping is for a bolt on lt1? I have some new tr55's ready to go in.

Factory gap is .050", but I'd go with .045".

I use either a swivel head ratchet wrench + 3" ext + sparkplug socket
or
19mm gear wrench + spark plug socket.
