Default Phirepower images MURDERED_OUT* Not really apparently

what do you guys think? I know these are long overdue

you are looking at powder coated c5 wagon wheels, c6 z06 exhaust tips exiting spent gases from a slp loudmouth and mid headers, flat black ron fellows stripes. I will post more pictures if you guys are interested... LMK

Changed my thread title. I got so many compliments in person on my car that I decided to show boat a little here... I guess it doesn't photo as well as it looks in person. Oh well

Ok guys some of you have been asking so here it is (pictures soon as well, can't find my digital camera)

Engine:

-Fully rebuilt Lt1 350, original four bolt main car (end of the lt1 run in 97)
-GM 846 Cam, GMPP 1.6 rr's, comp cams one piece chromoly pushrods, ls6 valve springs, ls7 lifters
-EDIT lightly ported and polished stock heads, looking for some trickflows
-new stock crank, rings, pistons
-Moroso cold air intake, aluminum 90 degree elbow, slp air foil ported and polished to blend into stock throttle body
-Edlebrock mid-tube headers, modified stock y-pipe (to accept headers) cats intact : (, slp loudmouth exhaust exiting out of c6 z06 exhaust tips
-stock tune (this will change soon)

Cooling:

-Electric water pump (not installed yet)
-hypertech 160 thermostat
-Slp fan control

Drivetrain:

-T-56 built to Viper specs
-Slp flywheel
-Ram stage 2 clutch
-stock 3.42's (d'oh) have 4.10's ready
-slp skip shift eliminator
-Hurst shifter w/ classic 6spd white ball
-reinforced Ls1 driveshaft

Suspension:

-New ball joints (installing soon)
-UMI Strut tower brace (installing today after work)
-UMI tubular lower control arms (installing this weekend?)
-new stock torque arm, looking to buy the UMI unit soon

Brakes:

-Red powder coated calipers on Ls1 front brake conversion (installing soon)
-Green stuff pads
-SS front lines
-Line lock (not installed yet)

Wheels:

-C5 wagon wheels off of 99 FRC (precursor to the c5 z06, not that it really matters)
powder coated the wheels black, left painted aluminum lip as is
-Brand new Sumitomo HrtZ II tires Cheap but grippy and very nice looking 275 r18 rear
245 r17 front

Electronics:

-Factory Monsoon Cd player upgraded from factory monsoon tape
-Infinity reference speakers all around
-wired for subs (sold subs)
-Autometer AutoGauge monster tach with shift lite

Appearance:

-In the process of repainting some areas, but everything is buffed
-factory black paint applied with 3 stages of clear
-Flat black Ron Fellows z06 hash stripes, wider c6 version of the c4 grand sport hash marks
-flat black wagon wheels

COMING SOON:

- formula firebird version of the CETA/ Berger panel mod in flat black (think about that one)
-Dick harrell tribute side stripes... you guessed it FLAT BLACK
-Tinted tail lights
-more suspension upgrades
-Modified factory steel hood (you'll like my work)
-Head lamp bulb fixture conversuion (will incorporate projector head lamps from current c6)
-Sparco seats
-36-42 lb/hr injectors
-power adders (I have a nitrous kit but I want to wait for a decent tune)
-and whatever else my criminal mind can come up with

The theme of my build or even what you could call my goal was to use as many GM parts as possible and when not available source SLP. As a former Vette restoration and performance worker I had affordable access to an array of Vette parts. I decided to make this the goal of my project after I had already added the Moroso CAI and whatever brand 90 degree elbow I have (they're all the same).

I hope to continue modding and driving this current setup until I find a black 02 ws6 I like and can afford, or I'll just drive this thing into the ground.

How does my combo sound to you guys?

can't believe you don't like the flat black ron fellows, everyone else says they are absolutely badass. I guess I didn't want to be like every other car on here with Grand sport stripes. Not that I don't like them or anything

I have always been a fan of a clean car. No body kits, no blamoyant wings, no cheezy stickers, no fugly rums, clean paint, straight body, smooth panels. Keep a car that way and it will always look good.

P.S. Stock you have 3.42 gears.

Ebay lights? They look like fake projectors, or are they real? I can't tell in the pic.

Looks clean but it still needs some more blackness to be murdered out. That's just a black car with a cam.

This is murdered out:

I know I saw that car in a thread on here, and I apologize for not saying who it belongs to!

bro your car is far from murderd out. murdered out is completely black wheels, lip and everything...black windows, all lights tinted black, exhaust powdercoated black if visible.
